REAL ESTATE EXPERIENCE: As a real estate agent, responsible for residential sales with buyers and sellers in Washington, DC, Maryland, and Virginia. To successfully help clients requires utilization of every aspect of public relations, communications, advertising and marketing analysis. Planning creative marketing endeavors to gain maximum exposure for listed properties includes open houses for the public and lunch-time, on-site presentations for brokers to solicit feedback. Provide ongoing recommendations regarding staging and necessary home improvements to enhance the image of the home. In thirteen years, have formed and maintained relationships with contractors that allow my clients to receive cost-effective proposals. Also required is knowledge of current g overnment programs, financial laws and requirements pertaining to home sales and research of comparable and competitive alternatives. Ongoing meetings with clients to update original goals and objectives are constant. Strong interpersonal communication skills have enabled me to build successful teams among diverse professionals at all organizational levels, i.e., banks, mortgage companies, other real estate agents involved, government program officials and, most important, the buyer and seller. The more understanding each team member has, the better information flows in a timely manner enabling the transaction to be completed seamlessly. My success in real estate is due directly to my ability to create an independent marketing brand targeting specific markets. My primary focus is first-time home buyers and sellers who require additional time, nurturing and education about the real estate process; however, it has definitely paid off in satisfied clients and consistent referrals.
